The data controller for  Handelson Technologies Co., Ltd., a company incorporated in Sweden (hereinafter referred to as "Handelson","we", "us", or "our").  provide mobile phone, smart device, accessory product and product support services. We may collect and use your personal information during your use of our websites, mobile applications, mobile devices, or other products and services (“Handelson Store”). For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, “personal information” refers to information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify an individual, either from this information alone or from this information combined with other information.

The general terms and conditions in Section A apply to you wherever you are located. Section B only applies to users located in the European Union(“Europe”).

General Terms

⑴How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect personal data to improve operational efficiency and provide you with the best possible experience. We collect personal information through the following channels: (1) personal data you provide to us directly; (2) relevant data we obtain when you use  Handelson products or services; and/or (3) data about you obtained from third parties.

The information we collect depends on the products you actually use, the environment in which you interact with us, and the choices you make, including your privacy settings and the products and features you use. Our products and features include core operational functions and value-added operational functions. You have the right to choose whether or not to provide the information we have requested, but in most cases, if you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with  Handelson Store services or respond to your queries. For value-added operational functions, you can choose whether or not to consent to our collection of information. If you refuse to consent, it may result in the relevant value-added operational functions not being available, but will not affect your use of our core operational functions.

⑵How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

You can log in through your HeyTap account and enjoy the products or services offered by our platform.

When you register an account with us or purchase a  Handelson product, participate in promotional or marketing activities, or enjoy after-sales service, we may collect information such as your mobile phone number, shipping address, name, etc. We collect this information so as to facilitate the delivery of goods, sending of notifications, and other services.

When you are reviewing a product and uploading an avatar, we may need to access your media album files so that you can upload a product photo or change your avatar.

When you participate in a live streaming event, we may need to access storage space to provide a smoother video viewing experience and real-time alerts.

In order to provide you with high-quality and stable service, we may need to obtain your IP address. We collect this information in order to allocate the appropriate server resources based on your region.

When you use mobile applications, we may need to obtain data regarding your activity, such as product feature usage statistics, site browsing data, and click behavior. We collect this information to optimize product functionality, user interface design, develop new product features, and make the software interface more intuitive and easier to use.

In order to provide you with push notification services, we may use your device information, mobile phone number, and the email address linked to your account to provide you with push notification content, including application updates and installation, sales and promotional information, etc. You may choose to opt out of receiving certain promotional material by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the message (such as the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message) or by going to the Settings — Notifications and Status Bar in your phone system (path varies slightly by product or service).

If you order products from us, request a return or refund or use a paid service, we may collect your delivery details, bank account number, payment records, billing address, and other financial information, contact and communication records,, for us to be able to process your order. We will use this data to process purchase orders and provide related after-sales services, including customer support, order delivery, invoice printing, etc. If you do not provide this information, you may not be able to order products from us, request a return or refund or use paid services.

If you wish to participate in lucky draws or competitions, promotional or marketing activities organized by us or our business partners, fill out questionnaires, participate in user forums or blogs hosted by us or business partners, you may need to provide us with your nickname, name, mobile phone number, email address, contact address, ID number, bank account number, and Alipay account information in order for us to contact you and issue you a reward.

When providing you with after-sales service and customer support, we may ask you to provide your personal information and collect this information, data such as IMEI and other device information, account information, order information (including name, mobile phone number, shipping address, order number, serial number, tracking number, email address, device ID, invoice number, account number), chat history, payment information, your name, gender, mobile phone number, email address, address, etc., and may record your call with our customer service staff. We use this data to diagnose product problems, repair customer equipment, and provide other customer care and support services. We may also collect your email address to respond to questions or comments you send through our website “How to Contact Us” or through other means.

We may use your personal information to understand your feedback and to communicate with you in order to provide you with services or information about our products. For example, when you participate in promotional or marketing activities, post content on user forums or blogs, or use after-sales services and customer support, we may also contact you through the mobile phone number information or email address you provided to us in the above scenarios to provide you with assistance or conduct user research.

If the relevant laws and regulations of your country have real-name certification requirements, we will also collect your real-name certification information, including your name and ID number. If you refuse to provide this information, we may not be able to provide you with the appropriate products or services.

In order to fulfill network security requirements, ensure normal operation of the  Handelson Store, the safety of your account, and to improve and optimize your service experience, during your use of the Handelson Store, we will collect your network information, device information, and information about how you and your device interact with the Handelson Store (including device name, device model, IMEI, IMSI, Android ID, application, MAC address, serial number, IP address, Open ID, operating system version and other device information), as well as your actions after logging in to your account (including changing password, changing linked mobile phone number, email address, complaint record, etc.), the time and duration of your use of the Handelson Store, software incident information (such as reboot, upgrade, error, crash, etc.) and the other log records. We collect this information to verify your identity, analyze service operational efficiency, review transactions, and prevent fraud.

We will use your personal information in strict accordance with the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, and your personal information will only be used for the purposes identified, stated, and authorized by you at the time of collection. If we want to use the information for other purposes not specified in this policy, we will seek your prior consent.

If we want to use personal information which was collected for a specific purpose other than the above, we will also seek your prior consent. We will not provide personal information and behavioral data to third parties for use without the user's consent.

Device Permissions

When you use the  Handelson Store, we may need to invoke certain device permissions in order to collect personal information and provide you with the corresponding operational functions or services. Specifically, we may need to invoke your device permissions for:

When permissions are turned on, you can turn them off at any time in your device's settings function (the way permissions are displayed when turned off may vary for different devices). After permissions are turned off, the corresponding product functions may not work properly.

We undertake not to invoke device permissions in scenarios where you have not authorized your consent or not to use personal information collected by invoking device permissions in scenarios where you have not authorized your consent.

Exceptions to authorization and consent to collect and use personal information

You are fully aware that, in accordance with applicable laws, we do not require your authorization to collect and use your personal information in the following circumstances:

Related to our compliance with our obligations under laws and regulations;

Directly related to national security and national defense;

Directly related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;

Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences;

For the protection of your or other individuals' life, property, and other significant legal rights and interests but where it is difficult to obtain your own authorization and consent;

⑷How We Retain Your Personal Information

The retention period for your personal data is the minimum time necessary to achieve the purposes of collection described in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law. For example, “The E-Commerce Law of the People's Republic of China (E-commerce Law)” requires that information about products and services, as well as transaction information be retained for a period of no less than three years from the date of completion of the transaction. After the end of any retention period or when the conditions for deletion of the information are met, we will delete or anonymize your personal data. When you cancel your account or voluntarily delete orders during the data retention period, such transaction data will only be deleted on the front-end. We reserve the right to retain the data on our back-end databases until the end of the retention period.

When we cease operating some or all of our products or services due to special reasons, we will promptly inform you and stop the collection and processing of personal information related to the products or services. At the same time, we will delete or anonymize the personal information we hold that is associated with the products or services, unless otherwise required by the law or regulations.

⑸How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Personal Information

From time to time, we may disclose some of your personal information with our affiliates and strategic partners that work with us to provide products and services, or, in other instances, share or transfer your personal information in order to provide the products or services you requested.

Affiliated Companies: Your personal information may be shared with our affiliates in order for us to provide services to you based on your HeyTap account. For example, when you use the  Handelson Store through your HeyTap account, your personal information may be shared with our affiliates to assist you in calculating HeyTap account points, as well as in redeeming points, memberships, and other user benefits when using other products or features supported by your HeyTap account. We only share necessary personal data subject to the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice. If we or our affiliated companies wish to change the purpose of using and processing your personal information, we will ask for your authorization and consent again.

Sharing with authorized partners: to realize the purposes stated in this Privacy Notice, some of our services will be provided by authorized partners. We may share some of your personal data with our partners to provide better services and improve user experience. In particular:

We may need to share your device information and behavioral data with our advertising and analytics service partners (including, but not limited to, advertisement service providers, third-party ad monitoring service providers, and information flow service providers) in order to complete ad placements and monitor the effectiveness of ads, etc.

We will only share your personal information with the above-mentioned authorized partners to the extent necessary for service provision.

We may need to share your name, mobile phone number, email address, address, ID number, bank account number, and Alipay account information with our marketing and promotion partners (e.g. marketing and promotional activities that we commission third parties to conduct or jointly organize with third parties) so that the third parties can measure activity participation and issue rewards to you, including, but not limited to, issuing your benefits or sending prizes by mail, etc. For example, when we need to issue prizes to you for an event, we will inform the logistics company of the contact information you would have provided for the event in order to complete the delivery.

We may need to share your personal information with our suppliers (including, but not limited to, cloud service providers, SMS or other technical service providers, payment or financial business-related service providers, content service providers such as short-form video) in order to implement necessary product or service features. For example, when we engage a third-party technical service provider to provide voice-to-text conversion services on our behalf, the supplier may receive and store certain personal data for a specific purpose. We will require such third parties not to use this information for any other purpose.

In some cases, we may engage a third party to process your personal information on our behalf. For example, companies that send text messages or emails on our behalf and provide technical support may only use your personal information to provide services to you on our behalf.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, if the transfer of personal data is involved, we will ask the new company or organization that obtains your personal data to be subject to this Privacy Notice, otherwise we will ask such a company or organization to acquire your authorization and consent again. If there is no transfer of personal information involved, you will be fully informed and all personal information under our control will be deleted or anonymized.

We will only share your personal data for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and clear purposes, and only personal data necessary for service provision will be shared. At the same time, through agreements or other appropriate measures, we will require the aforementioned third parties to take equivalent confidentiality and security measures when processing personal information.

Cooperation With Third-Party Software Development Kit (SDK) Providers

The  Handelson Store contains SDK plug-ins provided by our affiliates or authorized partners. We have no control over the privacy and data protection policies of third-party SDK providers, and such third parties are not subject to this Privacy Notice. In the case where a third-party SDK independently and directly collects personal information, its collection and use of information and other actions are subject to its own privacy policies.

In the case of an SDK’s collection of personal information as our data processor, the processing of your personal information (including, but not limited to, SDK’s transfer, storage, and use of personal information) after we share your personal information with SDK service providers is subject to the SDK’s own privacy policies. We carefully evaluate the purposes for which SDK service providers use your personal information. We conduct a comprehensive assessment of the security capabilities of these partners and require them to comply with the legal terms of the cooperation agreement. We conduct rigorous security monitoring to protect data security. In order to maximize the security of your information, we strongly recommend that you review the Privacy Notice of any third-party SDK services before using them. To protect your legal rights, if you find that such SDKs or other similar applications are at risk, you are advised to terminate the relevant operation immediately and contact us promptly.

We have taken reasonably practical and technical measures to protect the collected information related to the services. We have used industry-standard security measures to protect the personal information you provide to prevent unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss of data. We take all reasonably practical measures to protect your personal information. In particular:

We use security technologies such as SSL to encrypt many services. We regularly review practices regarding information collection, storage, and possessing (including physical security measures) to prevent unauthorized access or system tampering.

We strictly control access to personal information and only allow  Handelson employees and personnel of authorized service companies to access such personal data on a need-to-know basis in order to process such information or provide relevant services to you. These employees and external personnel are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations. If they fail to perform these obligations, they may be held liable or their relationship with  Handelson may be terminated. Access logs of personal data will be recorded and audited regularly.

The security of your information is extremely important to us. Therefore, we endeavor to ensure the security of your personal data and implement safeguards such as full security encryption throughout storage and transmission to prevent your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. At the same time, no one can access the specific content of certain encrypted data except the users themselves.

When transmitting and storing your personal data of special categories, we use security measures such as encryption. We use technical measures to process your personal biometric information before storage. For instance, we store only the essential components of personal biometric information.

We will strictly screen business partners and service providers and implement the requirements for personal data protection into the business contracts or audits, assessments, and other activities between both parties.
